cash

i spent all morning revising my budget. i always think to myself that as children we could learn so much more about money. but since i am not a child, and am fast approaching 31, i'll have to find my own budget path and forget about things i didnt learn in the past. things i learned today: in february 2010 i spent more on art supplies than gasoline. yes. this feels excellent! the worst news: i spent more money eating out than at the grocery store. not so bad. i like to get out:) and... well, now i am aware. so the worst news is still great. onward to a great financial future!

i like the idea of having wallpaper. it would be such a commitment though. maybe just on a wall in the bathroom? i love these two wallpaper designs.

workworkwork

when i moved to los angeles i never dreamed that i would be working in such a mellow salon and working such a skinny schedule! my new hours are: wednesday, thursday, friday 11am-7pm saturday 10am-5pm off sunday, monday and tuesday. its amazing and sometimes hard for me to believe. and in the near future this schedule will allow me all the time i need for all my other creative adventures!

now that i have made a bundle of pillow cases i think i may try this sweet idea of using bright printed fabrics with contrasting lace fringe. so cute!

michelle visits me. again!

i had a super time with my friend michelle this weekend. we went to the farmers market, made great food, shopped tons and even managed to sneak in a small photo shoot! so fun!
